The Tortoise and the Hare

One day a hare was bragging about how fast he could run. He bragged and bragged and even laughed at the tortoise, who was so slow. The tortoise stretched out his long neck and challenged the hare to a race, which, of course, made the hare laugh.     "My, my, what a joke!" thought the hare.      "A race, indeed, a race. Oh! what fun! My, my! a race, of course, Mr. Tortoise, we shall race!" said the hare.

We all use computers. If you use Windows on your machine, like me, you will have a small button at the the bottom of your screen called 'Start'. Every machine in the world which has the Windows software installed has to have that button. However, we can have different screen colours, different text sizes, wallpapers etc.

Why don't Birds on a wire get a shock?

Now how is that possible? The fact is, for a living creature to get a ‘shock’ there has to be a substantial flow of current through the body. However, there is barely any current running through the bird’s body for two reasons. Firstly, the bird not only forms a circuit with the wire, but it also offers a high resistance to current, so the current passes through the wire instead of the bird.

CHILDREN'S Day is one dedicated to celebrate "childhood". On Children's Day tribute is paid to all children in the world. Children are loved by one and all. They win over our hearts with their angelic eyes and innocent smiles. It makes one realise that maybe that's the way God wanted us to be.

                        The Friends

Two friends, Hemant and Vikas, planned to go hiking in the woods. They packed their knapsacks, lugged them over their shoulders and started out.

One evening, while walking through the dense forest, they heard a bear growl. They were very scared and started to run away, but "Twick, twick", they could hear the twigs breaking with each step the bear took towards them. 

THE TORTOISE  AND THE SNAIL

Long time ago, the Tortoise and the snail were very good friends. Snail was a very successful farmer but the Tortoise was a layabout but because of their friendship snail allowed his daughter to marry the Tortoise. Very soon after the wedding the Tortoise felt the need to feed his wife and since he doesn't have any reasonable job he taught the best option for him was to steal from snail's farm, soon afterwards snail started to notice that many of his farm produce often went missing. Snail reported this incident to the king several times but the supposed thief was still elusive.

~ STRUGGLE, FIGHT, VICTORY! ~

I have been trying soo hard to move forward with everything that I deal with stress wise and just my life. Starting in about first grade I relized that some kids will put you down, I didnt know how to handle that so I ate away my emotions. Now all of that eatting has made me feel worse and almost 200 pounds at 12 years old.

Ijapa the tortois

Ijapa the tortoise went on a long walk. He walked very far and got very tired. Ijapa was very hungry too.

Ijapa came to the village where Ojola, the boa snake, lived. Ijapa thought, "I am so hungry, I will stop here. Ojola will surely give me food to eat."

Two business men were having a discussion, and one of them said, I don't know why my son is very dull and the other said you are much more lucky.And they decided to test their sons.

  The first one called his son, 'jude, go and bring my suit case from my bedroom'. Jude went inside and came out with the nylon of the new suit his dad bought the previous day.The man said can you see what I am talking about?

   Then, the second man man said,let me show you how dull my own son is,and he called his son 'Efe',go to my office and check if I am on sit.Efe went to his dad's office and came back after two hours panting.Efe then said to his dad, papa 'i reach office but e be like say you no dey for office'. Then the first man looked and felt really sorry for his friend.
